Welcome to Mark's Fund-raising Page!
For the past several years, I have participated in our Company's support for CURE Childhood Cancer. Through CURE, children with cancer, their families and researchers in the field receive much needed support through this most difficult time in their lives.
100% of your donation goes to CURE Childhood Cancer. Please join me in making a difference in these lives. Here's a letter Lendmark received after last year's fund raiser I wanted to share. YOU make a difference in the lives of those affected by this disease.

Subject: CURE funded research
Hi everyone. I wanted to share with you an email I received from one of our funded researchers at Memorial Sloan Kettering. As you will see below, his research surrounding DIPG, one of THE most devastating forms of childhood brain cancers (incurable today with a median survival of less than a year!!!), has been published in a prestigious medical journal, with credit to CURE for our funding. I think this is particularly notable given that the work shows promise in developing a new treatment for this incurable brain cancer. That’s what the publication means – that the research is considered very significant. We have all known far too many children and families affected by this cruel and relentless disease. We shudder when we hear the diagnosis, knowing what it means.
THIS is exactly why we do what we do, day in, day out. When we say the research we fund is hope, we mean it – and this is proof. Think about that for a minute. Our constant nagging (I own it!) about sponsors for events, table sales, annual fund letters and calls is all for this. These are the faces that should motivate and inspire us to keep on…our kids, lost to this horrible disease. But soon, with our funding, there will be hope…:
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you - For choosing to be a part of this fight! (don’t forget to scroll down and click on the links)

I hope this email finds you well. I wanted to give you an update on the research on pediatric glioma from our lab which you supported. We recently published the work and I wanted to take this opportunity to thank CURE Childhood Cancer for supporting the work! A link to the paper and a commentary is listed below.
Many thanks, Richard
