Support CURE Childhood Cancer W/Ryan Burton At Lauren's Run
Hey everybody, I have been meaning to run in Lauren's Run...and finally this year I will do it. I am a runner. I run between 7 & 13 miles almost everyday. So 5k will be a pretty short little run for me lol. But it is time for me to get out and support. As you know we have supported CURE Childhood Cancer before with "Sometimes You Gotta Fight" by VANN which we recorded as a fundraiser in 2012 when Callie was fighting AML at Emory. *See the video posted here (desktop). The song is still dedicated to all the fighters. The heros.
I will run, obviously with Callie in mind, but we just received news about our friend Mandy and her little guy Theo. So I will be running thinking about Theo this year, and dedicating my run to both Callie & Theo.
ABOUT THEO HUCKS:
On Wednesday, April 18th, 2018 Theodore “Theo” Nathaniel Hucks was born with a rare pediatric cancer. If this rare diagnosis has proven anything, it’s that our Theo truly is one-in-a-million. Please donate, share, send a prayer, spread the word and join us in his urgent, lifesaving fight!

THEO'S FIGHT AGAINST RARE PEDIATRIC CANCER:
Shortly after Theo was born, the amazing doctors at St. Joseph’s hospital in Tampa, Florida noticed that he was having trouble breathing and swallowing. Several tests, an ultrasound and an MRI later revealed a large mass extending from the base of his skull to his collar bone pressing on his trachea.
A biopsy of the mass was done on Friday and although we're still waiting for the official results (takes 48-72 hour) a pediatric oncologist did a preliminary study of the slides and realized that the mass was definitely cancerous.
Let's work to win the fight against Childhood Cancer. Let's help the Callie's and the Theo's. Let's help CURE.
